This article deals with the perceptions of the school principals about group learning in teaching teams, crucial to evaluate the possibility of generating changes in the learning methods in schools. The figure of the school principal is considered essential in the management of the educational quality, given that he leads and coordinates the pertinent processes for such a task. For analysis purposes, a multiple case study was implemented, which allowed visualizing the scarce conceptual information that principals have about group learning, the perception of the educational system as an obstacle for its development and, finally, the influence of the types of leadership in its effective implementation.
