The limited ontological status of quantum logic

Abstract

This research seeks to explain the meaning of the quantum logic. I start considering the reasons that justify the raison d'être of the quantum logical. Then, I continue exposing the quantum logic of Birkhoff and von Neumann. Finally, we ended talking about the interpretations that has taken the quantum logic, in particular, by Putnam. Basically, we conclude that the quantum logic does not constitute a new logic that can replace the classical logic as logic of the world.

Rafael Mora Ramirez, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos

Doctor en Filosofía por la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Lima, Perú. Miembro del Centro de Estudios de Filosofía Analítica (CESFIA), de la Sociedad Peruana de Filosofía (SPF) y de la Academia Mexicana de Lógica (AML). Es integrante de los grupos de investigación "Círculo de Debate San Marcos", "Sentido y Referencia" y "Conjeturas y Refutaciones". Ha Ha sido ganador del Premio de Lógica Francisco Miró Quesada Cantuarias por presentar el mejor artículo inédito en el área de la lógica en la competencia organizada por la Sociedad Peruana de Epistemología y Lógica (SPEL) y la Logica Universalis Association (LUA).
